  • iTech Solutions

    Keeping your business under the fingertips of clients and prospective clients is seldom a bad idea. iTech Solutions, an IT and telecommunications reseller based in Sydney, had straightforward needs for their new website: simply make available contact information, a vendor list, a little about the company and an online contact form. A little goes a long way!

  • Elska Studios

    Kelly Taylor is a busy entrepreneuress who needed a website to showcase her talents—not take time away from them. The breadth of services offered by her company, Elska Studios, made the site a particular challenge. I got to know Mrs. Taylor's work through photos and sketches she provided, and designed a site that not only functions, but, as Kelly puts it, is totally hot.

    My equipment is modest, but I know what I'm doing. I often subtly use photos I've taken to add texture or ambience—sometimes people don't even know it's a picture! Which to me is just the point. I can take photos on location for your web project as well.

  • Macadoo Montgomery, Co.

    Macadoo Montgomery, Co. began as an outlet for finely crafted wooden smoking pipes. After a short time however it became clear something more flexible would be needed: a layout that could handle possibly weird additions (like plastic eggplants). Using PayPal, I created a webstore within the website, which maintained a consistent feel and user experience. The design is based around hihat beaver mustache man, artist unknown.

  • Tara Crooker, Baker

    Tara Crooker specializes in real ingredients that she feels gives her products the qualitative edge over...basically everyone else. A small operation at the moment, I was able to come up with a consistent set of labels, tags and literature that suited her. Tara's mum provided the hand drawn art work (I digitized the art, something else I specialize in).

Host Agreement

By purchasing hosting services from me, Jason Straw, you agree to a set of terms outlined in this, the Hosting Terms of Service ("TOS").

  1. Outline

    1. Hosting services puts important data and resources at stake. Therefore, before entering a hosting arrangement, a set of terms understood and agreed to by those in the arrangement is a must. This document defines the expectations and terms that, should they be violated, constitute a breach of contract between a purchaser of hosting services (the "User") and Jason Jeffry Straw ("Jay").
    2. The User should take care in keeping accurate contact information with Jay, as modifications and notices pertaining to this agreement are considered sent to the User through the methods and details Jay has on file. Jay is not responsible for out-of-date or otherwise faulty contact details he may recieve.

  2. Breach of Terms

    1. A breach of contract by the User can mean immediate service interruption, and gives Jay the option to not resume services.
    2. A breach of contract by Jay means the User may immediately request in full any balances they have with Jay, and/or cancel services immediately without penalty. Alternatively, if the User does not wish to cancel service they could claim credit for future services against the breaches.
    3. Claims of breach should be submitted in writing, post or email, to the other party within 3 weeks of the occurance. Claims uncontested within those 3 weeks shall not be considered valid.

  3. Service Expectations

    1. Jay will provide services not less than those purchased by the User or agreed to in writing. or the User shall be credited for the difference.
    2. No User shall abuse those services, or use them to commit or abet any illegal activities.
    3. If a User exceeds bandwidth or disk allotments, that excess will be billed to them at rates available on the Hosting page.
    4. Jay must meter (and therefore monitor) bandwidth and disk usage to ensure everyone gets their money's worth. Any results of this monitoring are held strictly confidential, and do not include anything other than cumulative statistics.
    5. Jay will never grant access to or otherwise provide any of your data to anyone, except for when you have given written consent, or Jay is forced by law (subpoena/warrant). Encrypt whatever you want. You are at liberty.

  4. Termination

    1. Either party, with 7 days notice and remittance in full of any account balances, may consider these terms null and void.

  5. Modification of Terms

    1. No binding changes to this agreement may be made by either party without notification. A period of 21 days after delivery of notification via contact methods on file shall be considered sufficient for the other party to reject, accept or request modification to proposed terms. Should a party reject proposed terms and notify the other similarly, the currently binding TOS will be used to remunerate the User and gracefully cease their services. No response shall be taken to mean the proposed TOS modifications are acceptable to the party, and will become part of this document 21 days after notification.

Touch-ups for Photos and Audio

Digital photos and audio often leave much to be desired. Although not all can be saved, most can be improved if you know what you're after. I used to run a recording studio, including audio for broadcast and award-winning short films. As for photos, this whole site is full of my work.
